PR by Debenhams
There was some really fun PR today by clothing retailer, Debenhams - a nice, quick story that got heaps of coverage. To summarise, the brand revealed research results, which showed that the height of a man’s waistline is directly linked to his age and where he is in his life - a nice, quick story that got heaps of coverage including pieces in The Telegraph, The Metro, and The Guardian.

More PR I love, and this time it's by KFC
Ok, so I’m a bit behind with this, but since I’m treating this blog as my scrapbook, I couldn’t let it be without one of my FAVOURITE PR stunts from last year. In order to publicise their new grilled menu range, KFC began a “lobbying” campaign directed at the UN for the fictional Grilled Nation to be accepted as a member state - the best part of which saw an actor posing as Colonel Sanders...

Completely brazen PR story from...
Saw some great PR today from beautifulpeople.com and wanted to share/keep a record of it. In short, beautifulpeople.com is a dating website where only the prettiest people are allowed to roam. Today it released a story claiming that due to Christmas weight, over 5,000 members were deemed too unnattractive for the site and therefore dropped.
